Former Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Management, University Paris 13, Michel Roux is Director of the Institute of University Professional Banking/ Finance (SAIC) of the University. He is partner of the Centre for Economics Paris Nord (CEPN). His research focuses on innovation financing, bank governance and corporate social responsibility. Michel Roux has contributed to the book Relations companies/banks, Practical Issues Francis Lefebvre (1992). He is the author of Ethical Finance, Structures, Players and Prospect, Bank Review, (November 2005). This book won an honorable mention in 2005 Turgot Prize for best book of financial economics. Michel Roux is involved in seminars and panel discussions in several countries on the issue of changing banking practices. Member of the Scientific Standing RIODD (sustainable development), he publishes regularly articles in the journal Bank/Strategy. He is also director of ANDESE (Association of Doctors in Economics) and manager of the Thesis Prize. He is a member of the Reading Committee of the Year of Financial Professions, published by the Center for Financial Professions and the Financial Economics Association. He is co-founder and co-director of the International Research Group in Financial and Fiduciary Ethics (GIREFφ).
